Do you want to know how it ends? Ljubljana is also known as a foodie’s paradise, so you can try some traditional cuisine during your free time or take a wine tasting!
Later you can also visit the castle, this time not for sunset, and learn more about the history of the city and look for the mountains in the distance. You’re going to visit them soon enough!

After the adventure, you will head to Lipica stud farm, where white Lipizzaner horses have been bred since 1580. After a possible romantic carriage ride, you’ll depart towards the Adriatic coast, where your accommodation will be waiting.

After a picnic lunch beneath the olive trees, pay a visit to the Sečovlje Salt Pans. There, you’ll find one of the rare places in Europe where salt is still being produced in a traditional way. You can even get some salt-based spa treatments right in its heart. Proper roadtrip day. You’ll take a scenic roadtrip today to the alpine town of Bovec in Slovenia, where you’ll stand in the shadow of dramatic peaks and explore the stunning Soča Gorges. Then, follow a magical trail alongside the Soča river as it winds through the pristine valley.
While you drive up the spectacular mountain road leading over the Vršič Pass, stop to admire the stone face of the “Pagan Girl” and the wooden Russian Chapel. This is where choosing a car with a panoramic roof window really pays off. You’ll continue down the hairpins to Kranjska Gora, where we will stop at Jasna Lake for a break before arriving at our accommodation in Bled. Possible Zelenci quick stop. Here, enjoy a romantic dinner by the lake.
Bled
After a good night’s sleep, enjoy the best that Bled has to offer: a tour of the Bled Castle and a ride on the Pletna boat to church island. Visit Lake Bohinj — less crowded than Bled but just as beautiful, located in the heart of Triglav National Park. Ride a cable car up Vogel Mountain, rising above the lake and offering some of the best views in the country, before returning back to Bled. You can also spend a chill romantic afternoon in Bled, exploring the sights on a food tour or from a SUP.
